About
My passion for woodworking started in 2009 when I purchased my first home. What started as small home projects gradually transformed my single-car garage into a small shop. At the time, my parents owned a farm in rural Kentucky where my father had a keen eye for lumber. Sustainably sourced hardwoods from aged/dying trees or trees uprooted by a storm were brought to a local sawyer and then stacked in one of the old tobacco barns on the farm. Over the years I've gradually collected a modest wood supply with the many back-and-forth trips visiting my family. My parents have since sold the farm but my shop name holds tribute as the farm was located on Locust Branch School Rd.
